Food and society is a broad field that encompasses fields such as agritourism, food deserts, scarcity and waste, meat alternatives, food technology and food journalism. The field is a broad view of how food and agriculture influence and interact with the everyday aspects of our lives. This topic has broad implications in a society now concerned with sustainability and climate change.
