We host workshops and events geared towards supporting students building their career readiness competencies.  Every quarter we offer wide range of topics including resume writing, job search, interviewing, networking, change of major, and more! If you'd like to partner on a workshop or have us do a specific workshop for your class or club please fill out our Workshop Request Form.

Bus transportation from Cal Poly and meals are provided. Writing a Compelling Personal Statement Thurs. Oct. 30 10:30am - Noon

Applying to graduate school this year or next? This workshop will help you with writing your personal statement/statement of purpose. We'll go over what admissions committees are looking for and the general structure of your essay.

We will have a brief presentation and optional writing time. Career advisors will be available to read over drafts and offer feedback.
