Career Services offers twelve signature Career Fairs and networking events per year to connect Cal Poly students and alumni with leading employers. Whether you are in your first year and just want to explore and see how it all works, or you are about to graduate and need a full time position – these events are for you! Meet employers and network to learn about full-time, part-time, co-op, or internship opportunities, and come prepared for same-day or next day interviews. All students, from every major, are encouraged to attend!

Career fairs and special networking events are for all currently enrolled Cal Poly students and alumni. The date, time, and location of these events are subject to change.

Preparing for Career Fairs and Networking Events

• Research the most current list of participating employers and the opportunities the have available by visiting the event page on MustangJobs.
• Add your resume to the Career Fair Opt-in Resume Book. 
• Come see us (virtually, in-person or by phone).
• Drop-in Hours.
• Attend a Workshop. 
• Make an appointment with your Career Counselor.
• Check out our interview tips (and additional resources) and prepare for common questions.
• Get your professional attire together. Business attire is suggested. 
• Download the Cal Poly Now App and search for the Career Services guide within the app to easily access career fair information, including an up-to-date list of employers, from the convenience of your smartphone.

Career Fair Opt-In Resume Books 

Submit your resume to the Career Fair Opt-in Resume Books to reach potential employers. These books showcase resumes of Cal Poly students and alumni pursuing internships and full-time roles. By adding your resume, you streamline your job search and enable employers to contact and potentially hire you. Access to these resumes is exclusive to vetted employers registered with Career Services. By opting in, you authorize Career Services to share your resume with participating employers who have subscribed to this service.
