Career Readiness - National Association for College and Employers
The National Association for College and Employers (NACE) defines career readiness as "a foundation from which to demonstrate requisite core competencies that broadly prepare the college educated for success in the workplace and in lifelong career management." Through ongoing research NACE has outlined eight career readiness competencies - career and self-development; communication; critical thinking; equity and inclusion; leadership; professionalism; teamwork; and technology.
Cal Poly Career Services' career education is aligned with the NACE 8 competencies.
